Thanks to everyone who helped out selling Car Lottery Tickets at the Coldwater Fall Fair over the weekend. We had good success, particularly on Saturday and the weather was great. Only 2.5 weeks to go for the Lottery, so now is the time to make the final push!
Tomorrow: we are hosting the two candidates who are running for Orillia Mayor-Whitney Smith and Steve Clarke at Creative Nomad. We will have our normal social hour from 5-530pm, but we ask club members and guests file into the room right at 5:30pm sharp so we can begin the discussion on time, and we will likely postpone any club business to the end of the meeting to maximize our time with the candidates. John Hammill will be moderating the discussion based on the questions the membership submitted. Orillia Mattters will also be there providing media coverage of the event.
Orillia Fall Fair-This weekend (Sat and Sun)-need volunteers for both Saturday and Sunday for both parking and car lottery sales. Shifts are: Saturday 930-12, 12-3, 3-5. Sunday 930-1, 1-4. Reach out to Dale if you can help.
