In Case You Missed It….

At our most recent meeting, our guest speaker Dr. Kunle Akinbola delivered an insightful presentation that focused on recent developments in artificial intellligence (AI) and how organizations are navigating the changes that come with these technological advances.

Dr. Akingbola is a professor of Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour, and chair of the business program at Lakehead University.

The presentation wrapped up with a lively Q & A session where members had a chance to share their own experiences with AI and ask questions.

This Week's Meeting

At this week's meeting, February 17, we have a packed agenda, with our Student of the Month presentations as well as guest speaker Allie Bradford from the City of Orillia.

In January we had to postpone our student presentations due to a school snow day, so we'll be presenting both those and the February awards.

Allie Bradford is with the Culture & Recreation Department and will be talking about this summer's music series.
