Aug. 21, 2019 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Hello everyone. Hope the summer is going well. Our first Club fellowship event of the year will be a family barbeque and rowing event at Little Lake Park on Wednesday August 21st from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. We will have several trainers on hand from the Georgian Bay Rowing Club to educate us about their program and to teach us how to row properly. Following that we will have a mini race for those interested and a barbeque afterwards (Hamburgers and Hot Dogs). We will also have a variety of additional games available for those of you that are not interested in rowing. Rotarians, spouses and children are welcome to join for a fun evening of fellowship. * Use the Yonge Street / "Dairy Queen Entrance" to access the Georgian Bay Rowing Club. It is located just behind the skate park and beside the baseball diamond. * Please arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 so we are ready to get started right at 5:30. * Please make sure you RSVP and include all your expected guests so we can properly plan for food and number of Rowing volunteers. * If you are interested in barbequing or helping with dinner, please let me know. Hope to see everyone there. Should be a lot of fun. Yours in Rotary, Bill Richardson |
