Chris Stallworth, CS Mott Foundation                                     

March 23 will be an exciting day for LARC as Christopher Stallworth joins us from the CS Mott Foundation to discuss how Flint is recovering and moving forward following the water crisis of the past several years.  
Gather for Networking at 11:45 pm.  Meeting begins at noon.  Q & A will follow Mr. Stallworth's presentation. 
Chris Stallworth began his professional career as a machinist for Robert Bosch LLC in Kentwood, Michigan. It turned out to be excellent experience for managing the workforce development and entrepreneurship grantmaking he now oversees for the Mott Foundation’s Flint Area Team. In addition, he works on local issues including downtown development, and college and career opportunities. Chris also works with the Education Team on the national youth entrepreneurship portfolio.
Stallworth earned an associate degree from Grand Rapids Community College. While working full time, he continued his education, transferring to Grand Valley State University and completed a double major in political science and English language and literature. He kept going and earned a master’s degree in public administration from Grand Valley. In 2011, Chris took a position as a program coordinator with the Council of Michigan Foundations. The Ohio native joined the staff of the Mott Foundation in 2013.
