Finemaster:
Bert Lauwers filing in for Carol, got straight to the point and fined John Bennett and a couple of table mates for John’s birthday and then focussed on Bernie and one of his table mates because Bernie has been an active Rotarian for 34 years. We sang happy birthday to John but there was considerable feedback on the PA system. Is there a message in that? Happy bucks came from Jason because his son’s hockey team won the provincial Bantam C championship; John Bennett is a happy hockey grandfather; Greg Evans is also a happy hockey Dad  cuz his son’s team won their  championship games as well.
In the ‘Should this be a fine worthy offense category’  was a question from Chief John about a report of “many feeling young people enjoying themselves” at the After Hours night club component of Rotanza.
Lynda thanked John for providing proof that someone actually read her  emailed report providing segue to her report on Rotanza.

John and Dom are doing a raffle with some great prizes.
dinner music will be from Red, White & Ace and later entertainment will be emerging C&W star James Barker.
Greg Evans reports that the After Party preparations are well in hand. Tickets are $35. Promises to be a fun experience
Anthony reports that there are about 75 tickets sold. The early-bird draw is on Monday April 18th at the Rotary meeting. Typically, there are 400-450 tickets in the draw. We have three weeks to turn in 375 sold tickets. SELL, SELL, SELL

50/50 Draw was won by lucky Charlie who was only partly lucky. No joker-the pot lives.
