Our guests today are Joan Kingston from Whitby Sunrise and Past President Dave Hartwell.

Following opening ceremonies, President John made the following announcements.
Thanks to John Hagarty for arranging the fellowship even of dinner and a hockey game.  And thanks to Anthony, who sponsors the Muskies, for bringing tickets and donating the proceeds to the club.
The Christmas meeting will be on the 14th of December at our regular meeting time. That will be the final meeting of 2015.  Please tell Sharon Chambers if you are attending and whether you will bring a guest/s.

And speaking of Sharon Chambers, she is looking for high school aged talent for an open mic gathering “coffee house” happening from 7-9 p.m. at “Frozen Over Cafe” on Friday evening.

Duty Roster for next week:
Sgt. at Arms: Ian Crockford and Michelle Gage (for Barb)
Greeter/Prize:  John Hagarty
Finemaster/Thanker: Danielle French

The Door Prize donated by Teresa was won by Bert Lauwers.

The Finemaster, Mark Fisher said today he is levying the fine first and called upon everyone who has not started Christmas shopping to contribute a dollar.  Bert offered his happy dollar because, thanks to Teresa, his shopping is done! And the happy bucks followed in good number:

Rohan is happy to wish John Hunter happy 82nd birthday
Rohan is also happy to have spoken extensively with Bob Puffer, on the telephone
Michelle contributed but please accept my apology for not being able to report why. (my note is obscure)
John Hunter says thanks for the choral celebration of his birthday.
Teresa is happy that her 15 year old dog survived an injury and remains happy and playful.
Mark is happy about the marriages of his daughters...... “I had a dream”
Dave Hartwell is glad to be visiting.
Jim is happy to see Dave who as club president, signed his membership certificate.

The wining 50/50 ticket was held by Bernie who drew the 10 of hearts.  The pot grows....

Final Note:  Lynda told us of a district project in Honduras requiring 20 volunteers to build and distribute wheelchairs. There are plans for visits to local points of interest as well.  The dates are February 3-10, 2016 and the individual cost will be $1900.

President John says to remember; “Be a gift to the world”. And the meeting was adjourned.

NOTE FROM SHARON CHAMBERS (Tuesday Nov 24)
Good evening all: As you are aware from my announcement on Monday and will be once it is in the Bulletin, some of our RYLA students were hoping to have an Open Mike Coffee House on Friday. This has not come together with only one name being submitted on each sign in sheet at the schools and a couple of those were questionable. We will try again, however I think the kids are so busy right now that the timing was not good.Mind you I am not sure when they are not busy!!!
