President John opened the meeting with the singing of Rotary Grace and a toast to the Queen.

Business announcements:
The Tri-Club Rotary Meeting will be held on May 2nd at the Peterborough Golf Club.
 Pres. John clarified that all tickets pulled for the Rotanza early bird or $150 prizes will be back in the drum for the car draw.
April 2nd is the Food packing event at the Wellness Centre in Peterborough.  There will be a bus leaving the parking lot at the former Target Store at 8:00 a.m. Expect to be back around 4:00 p.m.
Happy Bucks:
Happy Bucks were collected by Fine master Jason.  President John was $4 happy. Sharon was happy that the food providers are all on board and some are ready to supply extra when they are told about our hope for a sell-out. She also has a couple of good prize items secured.
Dan is happy that a book written by Canadian Lawrence Hill won 1st prize by ‘Canada Reads’
Dan is also happy that in our country we can have discussions about what books we read.
Bert’s happy because his new grandson Elijah was born on Saturday.
Sharon is also happy that two of the ‘Student of the Month’ recipients are grandchildren of Rotarians.
Christine had a happy family visit this weekend and tax season is well in hand.
Greg is happy to have seen the Easter bunny in action this year. 
 
50/50 Draw was won by Christine who failed to pull the joker.  The pot lives at $375+
