Acute hunger
Starvation
Daily undernourishment
Weakened immune systems
Every 6 seconds a child dies of hunger.

The founder of Kids Against Hunger is Richard Proudfit.
He worked with food scientists (General Mills, Pillsbury, Cargill, Archer Daniels Midland_ to create food that has been proved to reverse the starvation process.)
There are 21 essential vitamins in the food they provide.  They ingredients include, rice, dehydrated vitamins and minerals and fortified soy.

Food is distributed in local food centres and needy communities in Canada, and also, other stricken areas around the world.
