Welcome to the Rotary Club of East Providence, RI/Seekonk, MA.
Our Club was founded in 1946 , and is one of 65 clubs in District 7950, which includes the entire State of Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. We are a fellowship and service organization of men and women dedicated to the principal of "Service Above Self." We are one of 33,000 clubs in 200 countries with 1.2 million members.
Our community service projects include
- Annual Back-Pack Fair, providing back packs and school supplies to East Providence elementary school children
- Boys and Girls Club Christmas Party, providing gifts and pictures with Santa, to many local children
- $1,000 Scholarships to students of East Providence High School, Career and Technical School, Bayview Academy, and Seekonk High Schools
- RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) providing a 3 day Leadership Camp experience for local high school sophomores and juniors
We also donate funds for several local causes, including food banks, heating assistance, etc.
