The James L. Gibbs Scholarship
Scholarship Amount: $1,500.00
Honoring the legacy of Ithaca Rotarian James L. Gibbs, a college-bound, Ithaca High School senior is awarded this grant for demonstrating an exceptional level of commitment towards human relations and interracial understanding.
Consideration is given to the applicant's initiative, academic achieyement and leadership displayed in community and school activities. {Reviewed by a committee of Ithaca Club Rotarians, all finalists are required to answer Supplemental Questions that are available at the Ithaca High School Guidance Office.)
The Rotary Club of Ithaca has annually awarded this scholarship since 1984.
Tompkins Cortland Community College Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Amount: $750.00
Two scholarships will be annually awarded. Recipients must be enrolled fulltime, pursuing a TC3 degree, and active in community service while maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to Tompkins County residents.
Scholarship winners are selected by the TC3 Scholarship Committee.
TST-BOCES Career and Technical Center Student-of-the-Year
Scholarship Amount: $2,500.00
This annual award is for a student attending the TST-BOCES Career & Technical Center.
Applicants are nominated by faculty and the winner is selected by faculty and staff at TST-BOCES.
