Community Service

The Community Service Committee initiatives and implements club programs that are directed toward our community. The emphasis is mainly within Tompkins County but projects can be regional or national in scope.
Volunteer Projects: In addition to the projects below, develop new hands-on activities for which our members can volunteer in groups. Current committees are:
- Adopt-A-Highway
- Share the Warmth
- Salvation Army Kettle
- Pride-of-Ownership
- Recognition for improvements to property that beautify the City of Ithaca.
- Linen Closet
- A project with Catholic Charities to provide towels and bedding, etc. to those in need
- Rotary Harvest
- A Club project partnering with the Farmers Market to provide nutritious meals to needy families during school breaks when school lunches are not offered.
- Grants Committee Representation
- A representative from Community Service is part of the Club Service Grants Committee.

- Handwashing Project
