Program: Past District Governor, Phil Murphy, will be sharing his program, "Hairy and Hopper," a true story of a polio survivor brought to life through a storytelling approach in honor of Polio Awareness Month.
Past District Governor Phil Murphy (2014-2015) is a member of the Fort Collins Rotary Club.
Phil was named District Rotarian of the Year at the District Conference in May 2021. Besides sharing his leadership as a past District Governor, Phil is Lead Trainer for the President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) a 6-district event held in March of each year with approximately 500 attendees.
He is a member of the District Polio Committee and also volunteers his time as a Rotarian at the local food bank in Fort Collins each week.

Rotarians of the week: Kevin Murphy thanked all Rotarians for the beautiful card and condolences he received for the passing of his mother. Eric Eastin congratulated Casper College for a job well done on the play Mama Mia.
Announcements:
Eric Schlidt: Reminded everyone that today 10-18-2021 was the last day to have a say in the Next Big project for Rotary. Survey will be sent out again.
Mike Lougee- reminded everyone of the new member orientation that will be Tuesday 10-19-2021 at Gruner Brothers at 5:30 pm for all red badgers and their sponsors and that all blue badgers are welcome as well.
Edis Allen: Spoke on the pheasant hunt that will be held on Nov 13, 2021.
President Mike Howe- reminded that our monthly social will be next Wednesday at Raccas and wished Happy Birthday to Rotarians whose birthdays are in October this week.
Board Report: Secretary Chastidy spoke on her job duties and the attendance sheets to sign in each week that are on the table to be filled out.
New Website: Kodi Merschat revealed the NEW website and thanked the PR committee for all their help in making it possible.
Paul Harris Fellow- Edis Allen honored Kodi Merschat as a fellow Paul Harris fellowship.
PE Miamie Sleep: Introduced our Speaker Wyoming State Treasurer Curt Meier.
Presentation: Treasurer Meier visited with members about the role of the State Treasurer and the current financial situation.
Next week: PE Miamie Sleep announced next weeks program and the location will be at Hilton Garden Inn
