October Speakers
On October 3rd we welcomed ART 321 Executive Director Tyler Cessor to tell us about their plans for the 100th Anniversary in 2024 and the vision for the arts ecosystem in Wyoming.
On October 10th we heard from Guy Sallade, the Career Facilitator at Pathways Innovation Center. Guy told us how he introduces students to post-high school options such as college, careers, or the military. He let us know that there are many opportunities for job shadowing, mentorships, and job placement.
Our October 17th meeting was via Zoom with Dr. Marny Eulberg. Dr. Eulberg spoke about her experience as a polio survivor as well as gave us an update on the status of polio worldwide.
On October 24th we met at WYLD Gear and heard from Shane True about this Wyoming-based company. Many of us stuck around for a tour of the facility and to see how their pro-grade coolers are made. Shout out to Brad and Jan Cundy for preparing our lunch for this off-site meeting.
The October 31st meeting featured our exchange student, Alice Birungi, from Uganda. She shared information about herself, answered questions, and showed photos.
The Club is looking for additional host families for Alice as well as members that would like to help provide special experiences and outings for Alice during her time in Wyoming. If you are able to help, please connect with Jim Ruble or Dr. Richard Schwahn.

Corporate Membership Option
Recognizing the growing importance that businesses place on corporate social responsibility, the Casper Rotary Club has created a corporate membership option. Corporations can take part in projects that give back to the community through Rotary’s well-organized structure. The Rotary Club of Casper offers a corporate membership program for businesses, professional practices, government entities, and educational institutions. More information can be found in the Casper Rotary Club bylaws or by contacting Mike Lougee.
