Service Projects

While we didn’t have any formal, documented service projects this month, our commitment to Service Above Self continues in meaningful ways every day. Service isn’t defined solely by the projects we complete together as a club; it’s also reflected in the many ways our members give of their time, skills, and hearts throughout the community. From our Rotarians of the Week to the quiet acts of support and leadership you provide in your workplaces, families, and neighborhoods...each of these moments represents the spirit of Rotary. Thank you for continuing to make a difference, both collectively and individually.

Member Shout Outs

Congratulations to Bill Schilling for being inducted into the Wyoming Business Hall of Fame! Bill isn’t just a visionary leader, he’s a proud Rotarian and a former member of the Rotary Club of Casper, whose commitment to service, leadership, and community has left a lasting mark across Wyoming. His dedication to ethical leadership, economic growth, and building opportunities for others truly embodies the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self.”

New Member Alert

While we didn’t welcome any new members this month, our club continues to thrive because of the energy, compassion, and commitment of each Rotarian. Growing our membership helps us expand our impact, deepen our service, and strengthen the future of our club. If you know someone who embodies the spirit of Service Above Self — a colleague, friend, or community leader — consider inviting them to a meeting or sharing what Rotary means to you. A personal invitation is often the first step in inspiring future Rotarians to join us in making a difference.

Student of the Month

Congratulations to our inspiring Students of the Month, Hayden Leonhardt and Madi Cochran.

Our club proudly supports ShelterBox, a global Rotary partner providing emergency shelter and essential supplies to families who have lost their homes due to disaster or conflict.
Together, we’re helping rebuild lives and bring hope where it’s needed most.

Help Julia Experience Wyoming!

Our exchange student, Julia, shared a wonderful “Wyoming Wish List.” It's a collection of activities she hopes to try during her year with us. Her list ranges from classic local outings to iconic regional adventures:

>Wyoming Symphony Orchestra (Christmas Concert)

>Casper College soccer matches

>National Historic Trails Museum

>Ride a Seadoo

>Visit Thermopolis

>Golf

>Ice skating

>Bowling

>Sledding

>Snowboarding

>Target shooting

>Visit Mount Rushmore

>Visit Yellowstone National Park

>Visit Devil’s Tower

>Community volunteer activities

Rotary Youth Exchange is built on shared experiences, new friendships, and opening our homes and hearts. If you are planning any of these activities, or if you have a uniquely “Wyoming” idea of your own, we encourage you to include Julia and help her create the memories she came here for.

To coordinate or invite her along, please contact Lisa Scroggins at 307-262-0754.

A heartfelt thank-you to all of our members for supporting this program. Every moment Julia spends with you helps shape her year, her understanding of our community, and the story she will carry home for the rest of her life.
