  • Announcements: Amy Ruggles reminded us about the Sutter Buttes hike February 17th. District Trainings are available February 24th at Sierra College. The Crab Feed is coming up March 23rd. You can help set up, prepare food, or bring a cake or two for the dessert auction. Tim Hayes sent out a sign-up. Tickets are $75 cash or check, $78 if you use a credit card, and $81 if you buy your events on Event Brite.
  • Speaker Richard Olebe talked about the WASH project in Uganda. WASH stands for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. The District worked with USAID to construct projects at the Kattabakooki School, Kibaale Town, and Komanshibi North Country. The project was completed in June 2022, and now there is a 75% decline in Cholera and dysentery. A great accomplishment. The government has taken over the project and will maintain it.
