President Amy called our meeting to order with her new tradition, singing "Imagine", flag salute, and 4-Way Test.  Peggy provided us with the thought for the day, "One positive thought will change your day".  Good way to start each day and each meeting!

Introductions followed, PDG Jack Arney was welcomed by Don Cotton.

Fine Master Pajak was back, and with a long memory! She started with unfinished business, calling on Peggy for "volunteering President Amy to chair the last fundraiser.  Then called on Sandy, who it seems coerced President Amy into being Club President.  For these egregious acts, $5 each was extracted.  Then she moved to new business.  This Fine Master does not mess around!!!
-Sandy for her love of shoes was "sold" a shoe wine bottle opener for $5.
-Maria for her special invitation to be a PRLS trainer, and enduring 3 days of
  training. -  Bell Ringer!
- Note, 7 women were chosen for PRLS leadership, not one male Rotarian.   All men in the room were assessed $1 for not being leaders!
- Jack Kimmel had an amazing 80th Birthday Trip.  He paid for his bragging
  rights.

President Amy tried to sooth the wounds by giving anyone in sneakers an extra raffle ticket.  Raffle Prize winner was PP Randy!

Program of the day was a lively game of Rotary Trivia.  PDG Jack Arney MC'd and PDG Sandy Sava kept score.  It was great fun and educational.  I think the Yellow Team won, receiving a Pizza Party for all on the team.  Kiddos to Jack and Sandy for a fun filled educational program

Reminder - Next Tuesday morning at Ettore's for breakfast!

Birthdays, Anniversaries and Rotary Anniversaries for July and August were celebrated.  Congratulations to all who were honored.  IceCream for ALL!

HELP - We need volunteers to help set up our AV for each meeting.  Easy job, no technical skills needed.  Just need to arrive at 10:30.  Randy or Bob will greatly appreciate your help.  Thanks to everyone that has helped.  It takes a village!

Jim Fritzsche was recognized for the awesome first 4th Friday Firepit social last week.  Fun evening.  Thank you Jim and Alison for welcoming 9 Rotarians into their backyard for social time.  Tim & Sue Hayes will be hosting us on Friday August 26.  We are looking for volunteers to host on Friday September 23 and Friday Oct. 28.  Please contact Chris Deering if you'd like to host.

Dave Jones thanked Alana, Bob & Ray Hamaker for working at the River City Food Bank last week.  We will be working there monthly, on a Thursday, and on a Saturday all this year.  Next date is August 13, Sat. Watch the bulletin and calendar for future dates.  I'm sure Dave will keep us informed!

Jim Fritzsche introduced Board Member from ALS Association.  We will be participating in their upcoming Walk for ALS Fundraiser, Sept. 17.  We will be walking in memory of our John Lionakis.  Get this special event on your calendars.

Hanns presented our President with an official Certification of Health for Amethyst the Armadillo.  According to Hanns, they can be carriers of Leprosy.  He is pleased to certify that after careful examination, we are all safe as Amethyst is in perfect health.
