It was an unusual meeting today.  We met at the Sacramento Police K9 facility.  The officers fed us with sausages and tri-tip.  Sargent Aaron Thompson explained the history of the facility and how the program works.  They gave us a demonstration of one of the dogs biting one of the officer (he had protective gear). They were very thankful for all we have done for the facility since 2007.  Today we celebrated the new fencing project that keeps the dogs separate from the running track that the police and firefighter recruits use.

 

Poinsettia Fundraiser - Jim Fritsche, reminded us to sell Poinsettias.  Orders must be in by November 10, delivery November 29.  Flyer is posted on the webpage.

 

Children’s Receiving Home - We will be doing dinner with the kids from CRH the Friday November 4 at Round Table Pizza, Watt & Whitney.  Festivities start at 5:00pm
