Guests:  Children and Staff from the Children's Receiving Home. Jim played a question and answer game with them, awarding the children $200 spending money for their trip to 6 Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo to go along with the tickets provided by our club.

This past week the club had a cleanup day at the Rotary House on Saturday and attended the horse races at the State Fair on Sunday.

Speakers: Chris Deering introduced our RYLA participants Jada Brent, Chloe Laird, and Justin Brett.  Jada talked to us by zoom about her experience and how RYLA helped her overcome shyness and gain friends. In a video, Chloe said she learned how to face fears of anxiety and shared the quotes, "Sometimes the fear won't go away, and we have to do it afraid" and "If service is beneath you, then leading is beyond you." She is learning to be more courageous and to set high goals. Chris read a letter from Justin Brett. He wrote, "It's been a great pleasure to go on the trip and I met some great people. I gained clarity in my life. We should pour back and help others."
