Come join us this Thursday to hear our Guest Speaker Malia Bohlin.  

Malia Bohlin was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised on Maui.  She attended Baldwin High School, then the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and later received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Colorado in boulder.  She went on to earn a Master's in Non-Profit Management from Regis University in Denver.

Ms. Bohlin began her writing career at Baldwin High School, where she placed second in a state-wide creative writing contest her junior year. She went on to work as a reporter for the UH Manoa student Newspaper, Ka Leo. In her professional career, she has produced many fundraising proposals, speech presentations, and grant requests, helping raise millions of dollars for local and national non-profit organizations.

Ms. Bohlin currently lives on Maui, where she works in fundraising, and as a PATH International certified instructor in a therapeutic riding program. Malia loves to travel, read, write, and sometimes run half-marathons. Left at Hiva Oa is her first novel. Learn more at
