Chet Hewitt, President and CEO of Sierra Health Foundation, a private philanthropy based in Sacramento.
In that position, he has increased the foundation’s grant-making efforts, focusing on underserved populations throughout the foundation’s 26-county region. He previously served as director of the Alameda County Social Services Agency, overseeing the provision of human services programs in the state’s sixth-largest county.
He also serves on numerous boards and commissions, including the Greater Sacramento Urban League, United Way California Capital Region, and Valley Vision.
