What do NID's, TRF, DG's, RYE, and Area 4 have in common with the upcoming Trick or Treat season?

You will not want to miss this informative session with District Governor Jo Ann Lemmon.  It is visitation day (yes, we do it once a year) and you will leave this meeting knowing more about Rotary than you imagined, and with pride that you get to be a part of this incredible organization!  So, just to tease your interest, NID -- National Immunization Day is all about Polio Plus and the fight that Rotary is winning to eradicate Polio in the world.  TRF is the Rotary Foundation, supported by giving to your Paul Harris Fellowship, and the vehicle through which Rotary changes the world.  DG is District Governor Jo Ann Lemmon, who will challenge and inspire us in our Rotary service.  RYE is Rotary Youth Exchange -- our club has sponsored two students to this incredible nine month experience in other countries this school year, and we are hosting a Brazilian and a French student in Sacramento this year.  Jo Ann has  personnally hosted six RYE students in the past.  Area 4 is the subsection of Rotary District 5180 to which our club belongs, and is ably led by Past President, now Assistant District Governor (ADG) Fred Teichert.

There is so much to know about what our club does, and how Rotary is changing the world for good-- where else can you go to receive good news?  Join Jo Ann at the Trick or Treat District Conference at Squaw Creek to truly be inspired about the small part you play in changing the world.  To learn more about how this all works, come to lunch Monday!  See you there.
