    Drew began his career as a Special Agent in 1984.  Following training at Quantico, Virginia, he was assigned to the Phoenix Division where he worked Organized Crime and Drug matters.  
    Ten years and two assignments later, he served in the San Diego Division as a Field Supervisor over a Drug Squad and Criminal Intelligence Squads.  Then, In July, 2000, Drew was assigned as Supervisory Special Agent/Program Manager for the FBI's Drug Program in Mexico City, Mexico.  In that capacity, Drew was responsible for the daily exchange of information with senior officials of the Mexican Government.
    2002 saw Drew in Houston, Texas as Assistant Special Agent in Charge.  He was directly responsible for the Organized Crime/Drug Program, Violent Crime Program, Cyber Program, Intelligence Program, and Crisis Management within the Houston Division.  
    Drew was selected to serve as Special Assistant to the Director in 2004 until his appointment as Special Agent in Charge of the Sacramento Field Office in2005.
