Group Study Exchange
The GSE members from Malaysia enjoyed our club luncheon meeting on the 18th of October. They did want to convey their regrets concerning their scheduling problem with flights from Malaysia which precluded them from giving a presentation.
The group will be very busy during the next month’s stay here in the district. The four members, Yin Fong Yeun (Seminar Marketing and Communications Executive) Carolina Santiago (Research Assistant & PhD candidate) Rose Yee Fun (Account Manager in Business Banking), Halimah Hairan (English teacher) and their team leader, Michael Tung (Entrepreneur/Business Owner) will be involved in vocational visits, networking with other professionals, attending Rotary functions and seeing a few of the area sights. They will be at the district conference meeting at Squaw Creek the end of the month plus weekend visits to San Francisco and Yosemite.
We all wish them well. Upon their return home November 10th District 5180 will send our GSE group to Malaysia for a month.
