Event Recap: May 8, 2010

The room was welcoming and decorated beautifully! The silent auction included a broad range of items  and there was plenty of time to bid and socialize with Rotarians, members of the Y board and to catch up with old friends and make new. The John Skinner orchestra was fabulous offering plenty of opportunities to dance before, during and after dinner. I'm not sure Jim Phillips had a chance to eat! Many stepped up to help send kids to summer camp and once again the Dive Bar Trip was a popular live auction item. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and all for a terrific cause. Congrats to our Bids for Kids co-chairs, Susan Sheridan and Jeff Curcio, and the entire BFK committee!

The bids-for-kids event was a first class outing.  Kudos to all the people involved in organizing the event; great band, beautiful decor, fantastic guest processing and easy to follow bidding system.
