Beth Hassett - WEAVE

As the CEO of WEAVE, Beth leads the charge to build a community that does not tolerate sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking and offers victims the support they need to be safe and thrive. Under her direction WEAVE has added seven new housing facilities for victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking, built a team of response advocates to provide mobile advocacy to victims in the community, dramatically expanded legal, prevention education and counseling services, and opened recycled fashion stores to support clients and programs.  In 2016 the Congressional Victim’s Rights Caucus honored Beth with the Ed Stout Memorial Award for Outstanding Victim Advocacy and she received the Soroptimist International of Sacramento Ruby Award.
