The Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation Annual Scholarships
The Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation, in order to promote higher education and the spirit of Rotary in
the community, has established annual scholarships for junior colleges or community colleges such as the Los Rios
Community College District. These scholarships will be awarded to ten outstanding students from the Sacramento Region
(including Sacramento, Yolo, Sutter, Placer and El Dorado Counties).

The awards are applied to one year of undergraduate academic study in the United States at a junior college or
community college of the student’s choice. The scholarships may be awarded for any field of study; however, in selecting
a recipient, emphasis will be placed on the pursuit of an occupation that will most influence or better the community and
also encourage and foster the principles of Rotary and the free enterprise system.
