Jun. 08, 2021 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Rotary Club of Sacramento. Where leaders meet - in person! - to serve. That's right. Thanks to adjustments in state public health policy, our club can now meet again. Hooray! Our first in-person meeting will be next Tuesday, June 8th, at our customary spot, the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. You need to reserve your spot. Attendance is limited to 150. One notable requirement: attendees must show proof of vaccination or recent negative test. Please be prepared to show your vaccination card, either the physical one or an image, as you enter the building next Tuesday. If you do not present proof of vaccination or negative test, we cannot permit you to enter the building. No exceptions. Masks will be required. Please bring one. We will modify the seating to add spacing. Instead of 8 at a table, we'll seat 6 per table. The wine reception will be ready to welcome you. Please dress up! It is a significant milestone in the history of our club. I would like the photos for posterity to show that we looked sharp at the reunion meeting. For those not yet comfortable coming in person, there will be a zoom streaming of the meeting. (No promises on the caliber of the simulcast, as we are still figuring it out.) As for costs - since we are returning to our normal lunch meetings, we are returning to our normal fees structure of $25 per meeting. No cash will be accepted. For this first meeting, let's keep it to club members and prospective members. We will not have a guest speaker, instead devoting that meeting time to visiting time with one another. Guests are invited for subsequent meetings. Questions? Feel free to send them along to me at ksmithfagan@gmail.com. President Kevin |
