We will be Painting!! A 40-foot fence! All materials to be provided, just bring yourself ready to paint! The Children’s Receiving Home was founded in 1944 through a cooperative effort of the Junior League of Sacramento and the Rotary Club of Sacramento. Previously at two other locations, the Children’s Receiving Home has been located at its current site since 1965, on six acres of land deeded to the agency by the City of Sacramento. In recent years the Children’s Receiving Home underwent major renovation and addition of cottages and a multipurpose building made possible through the generosity of donors in our area. Today the Receiving Home houses up to 98 children on a beautiful, state of the art facility. Donuts & coffee will be provided. Please sign up via this link.

The festivities start at 5:30 PM, and will continue until 7:30 PM. This is an opportunity to informally meet and mingle with other Rotarians. It is limited to 25 people. Rotary Club of Sacramento’s Annual Daughter’s Day is just around the corner! This holiday themed event is a fun day for your daughters, granddaughters and significant ladies in your life to attend our Holiday Rotary Meeting. On Tuesday, December 17th, President Jim Leet will relinquish the gavel as our members’ daughters and grand-daughters take over to make the day extra special. This year’s meeting will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, at 600 Alhambra Blvd; Parking is on 30th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816. Please join us in celebrating the Holidays. In addition, we cannot forget the much-anticipated appearance of Santa Clause! Remember RSVP is required for this event even if you are not bringing a guest as we need an accurate count for meals. Please advise the office if you will need a children's or vegetarian meal. Your RSVP is required by end of business day today, Wednesday December 11, 2019 Looking to commemorate this great occasion?
