A LEADER OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION RIGHT HERE IN SACRAMENTO
Jul. 18, 2017
A LEADER OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION RIGHT HERE IN SACRAMENTO Oleg Kaganovich is CEO of a local tech company called Wyndow-that’s W-Y-N-D-O-W. Yep, Microscoft came after him and he won as his product hasn’t anything to do with Microsoft Windows. He’ll tell us what his product is and it’s something that doesn’t exist now. Oleg is an entrepreneur and innovator who loves creating something new. He has great stories to tell about working in Sacramento and in Saudi Arabia. He developed an entrepreneurship academy in Saudi Arabia and will highlight some ways entrepreneurship is similar there as well as in the United States. This is a speaker you won’t want to miss! By the way, he is the son of our Rotarian Lev Kaganovich who is chairman of the day. He’s looking forward to hearing his son speak as even he doesn’t know everything he’s up to! |

THE REST OF THE STORY - Scientific Discovery
Jul. 25, 2017
Bruce Hester has always been interested in science and history. Graduating from college with a degree in science (biology) and traveling the world with his wife Elfrena over the past two decades has piqued his interest in the blend of the two. He is intrigued in the “BACK STORIES” of how history has progressed due to science. His tale will be about a scientific discovery that became more refined over the years to become something modern life cannot do without. Bruce will discuss at least 10 ways it has benefited our lives. Join Bruce on the 25th of July for his fourth speech to the Rotary Club of Sacramento. He will give us “THE REST OF THE STORY” about this scientific discovery, which over thousands of years has and continues to change our lives.
