Rise Against Hunger Rotary Competition

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

We are signed up for the Rise Against Hunger Rotary Club Team Challenge Extravaganza on Saturday, July 31 at 9:15 AM. 

Location - Rise Against Hunger Warehouse 1065 National Drive Suite 3 Sacramento, CA 95834

 We need between 10 and 19 volunteers.

We will be competing head to head with at least the following Rotary clubs:

South Placer,

Natomas/North Sac

Point West

FANS ARE WELCOME!.

The following areas will be judged and weighted as follows.

• Club Impact Gift Fundraising (entire club) Total donation including team registration fees. Weighted value is 35% ($1.00 = 1 point)
• Meal packing Contest (10 participants) – most meals packed correctly in 30 minutes. Each team will view a video and receive written instruction. Each team will have one 3-minute time-out. This is a timed event, and the weighted value is 30%. (number of meals packed in the allotted time)
• Trivia Contest (5 participants) Rotary International and District knowledge combined with RAH information. Each team will view a short program then the trivia game begins. Correct answers and the speed at which you answer will go into the point total. This will be the cumulative point totals of the entire 5 person team. Weighted value is 25% (All team members score count)
• Corn-Hole Contest (4 participants) Your team will be evaluated by how many throws it takes to accumulate 21 points. 1 point for a bag on the board not touching the ground and three points for in the hole shots. Weighted value is 10% (Team with the fewest throws to reach a total score of 21)
