Dr. Garen Wintemute Dr. Garen Wintemute, M.D., M.P.H., who holds the Susan P. Baker-Stephen P. Teret Chair in Violence Prevention at UC Davis, will be our guest speaker on August 15th. Dr. Wintemute is the director of the Violence Prevention Research Program at University of California, Davis. Dr. Wintemute’s unique perspective as an emergency medical professor and doctor as well as a researcher and advocate to reduce gun violence will offer Rotarians a critical perspective.

The luncheon will start with a wine reception at 11:45 am, allowing attendees to network and socialize. This will be followed by the formal club meeting that begins promptly at 12:10 pm.

IMPORTANT! The church will have a secondary event occurring at the same time as the Rotary meeting on Tuesday, August 15th which will reduce parking spot availability in the parking lot. Please arrive early to allow for time to find parking. 

To help us make the necessary arrangements, RSVP and indicate the number of guests attending with you so that we can ensure adequate seating and catering. If you have any dietary restrictions, such as being vegetarian, please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate your needs.

Our normal fee structure of $30 per meeting. No cash will be accepted. Meeting fees will be invoiced. Credit cards and check payments are accepted.
