Join us on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 for an enlightening meeting with James Richardson, an Episcopal priest, former Senior Writer with The Sacramento Bee, and accomplished author, as he shares the captivating journey of his families abolitionist legacy. James Richardson is the author of "The Abolistionist's Journal: Memories of an American Antislavery Family" and "Willie Brown: A biography".
The meeting will begin with a wine reception at 11:45 am, allowing attendees to network and socialize. This will be followed by the formal club meeting that begins promptly at 12:10 pm.
To help us ensure that everything runs smoothly, we request that you RSVP for yourself. If you plan to bring guests, please indicate the number of guests accompanying you. This will allow us to arrange adequate seating and catering. Additionally, if you have any dietary restrictions, such as being vegetarian, please inform us in advance so that we can accommodate your needs.
Please note that the meeting fee is $30 per attendee. We do not accept cash payments. Meeting fees will be invoiced, and we accept payment via credit cards and checks.
