We should be done in 2 hours so you can plan to have lunch in Davis or elsewhere. Parking in the parking garage near the Mondavi Cent er is free on weekends.   To get there take the UC Davis exit off I-80 tu rn right and tight again\, go past the roundabout and a little farther on the right is the parking garage.    Please bring water (1 liter is recom mended)\, hat\, sunscreen\, and your good nature with you.  There are no bathrooms in the arboretum.   You will be asked to sign a release for the walk when you arrive that releases the Rotary club and its leaders from l iability as you are assuming the risk of injury to yourselves on the hike.   The path is mostly paved.  The elevation gain over the 3 mile hike is 50 feet so it is virtually flat. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.  I have pre-hiked this hike last week.  The foliage is not as robust as i n summer\, but the autumn experience won’t disappoint you\, I believe.
