City Update

The Folsom City Council appointed Evert Palmer as City Manager in October 2011.  He previously served as Folsom’s Assistant City Manager, Director of Administrative Services, and Assistant Director of Finance/Information Technology Manager.  He has worked at the City since 1996.

Evert is an International City/County Manager’s Association (ICMA) Credentialed Manager.   He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. He has a Certificate of Achievement in Municipal Leadership from the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development.
