Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,000 Rotary clubs located in 166 countries.

The Rotary Club of Ossining was founded in 1922 and currently contributes to a number of community initiatives, such as a database of volunteer opportunities in the area, a teen suicide prevention project and a new playground, to name just a few. The Club also awards four scholarships a year to deserving OHS graduates and sends several youngsters to the Rotary Youth Leadership Association training seminar in New Jersey.

Rotary Membership

Members of a Rotary club are part of a diverse group of professional, business and community leaders working to address various community and international service needs and to promote peace and understanding throughout the world. Among the Ossining Rotary club members are a chef, a web designer, a recreation director, an accountant, a real estate broker and a bank manager, to name just a few. We meet every Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. at Isabella's at Main Street, Ossining.

If you would like to be considered for membership, contact our President, Bob Nolan or call her at 914-944-0994.
