March has been a busy and rewarding month, recognizing our Paul Harris Award recipients! Ross Jefferies was honoured and acknowledged for his many years of contributions to the foundation with the addition of his fourth sapphire to his existing Paul Harris recognition. Thank you Ross for your ongoing support over many years! Norm Rippon spearheaded our club's 85th Anniversray Committee and has hosted the weekly meeting at his home for over a year. The Rotary Rocks the Barge campaign has raised over half the funds needed to complete this community project of amphitheatre seating at Gull Lake Rotary Park. Norm was  presented with his third sapphire for his Paul Harris pin. Thank you, Norm! Beth Houston has co-chaired the Coldest Night of the Year walk which brought record breaking proceeds to our community. As co-chair of Gravenhurst Against Poverty (GAP), Beth has helped grow this local organization enormously, toward assisting food, transportation and wellness programs for those in need in Gravenhurst. Beth will take over the GAP Chair position from Bonnie Dart on April 1. Beth has contributed in many other ways in our town so was recognized and honoured with our Community Member Paul Harris award. Gravenhurst is fortunate to have such leaders in our community. Thank you all!
