At today's meeting, we presented Savannah Corrow with the 2025 Kate Smith Scholarship Award. This is an annual award to a deserving junior or senior at Lake Placid Middle-High School. The award includes a cash prize of $1,000 with the intent that the money will be used to defer the cost of college applications or other college related expenses. Our club has made this aware each year since 1994 to remember the accomplishments of long-time summer resident Kate Smith (5/1/1097 - 6/17/1986).
