We were visited by Brenda Episcopo, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Northeastern NY. Today's Girl Scouts look to make learning fun via peer support and building friendship, countering some of the influences of today's technology. Programs evolve to meet the needs of the future by teaching entrepreneurship, leadership and life skills, community service in addition to the outdoors experience. "Tomorrow is ours" is what's shown on their website. Girl Scouts creates a safe place for girls to be themselves, make friends, and try new things, while being supported by caring adults and working together to make the world a better place. Girl Scouts is THE best leadership-building program for Girls in the world. Brenda is shown with Rotarian Chandler Ralph who is also a director of the organization.
