The Youth committee led by Liz Bligh has been given a potential candidates name for this program. That is so good.
Liz is following up with this fantastic opportunity for both the candidate and Warrnambool Daybreak.
Usually hard to get a candidate for this program, so hopefully we can secure this possibility before any of the other local clubs beat us.

Board Members - ANNUAL REPORTS
ALL Board members are NOW requested to supply Secretary Gerard with their finalised annual report.
Please have these reports to Gerard prior 21st June so he has time to produce the Annual Report for Changeover 5th July.
Why do we do this.
Gerard does his magic and compiles each of the Board Directors yearly reports into a single document that then is stored in our archives, both hard copy and electronically for future generations of Daybreakers to access.
By accessing the Daybreak clubrunner site,
you are able to view any past annual reports.
This site access is available by your computer or an app on your phone very easily.

Bunnings BBQ - Saturday 6th June

Big thank you to ALL those that put up your hand to help out at such short notice.
Rashid spoke to us about his life, born in Pakistan and trained as a doctor, Completed specialist training to become a Gerontologist in London where he lived for 22 years. He made the decision to relocate his family to Australia, choosing Warrnambool to reside, been here 3 years, and has taken on a new role at South West Healthcare.
Rashid now has a leading role in the Aged Care Older Persons department of South West Healthcare, this provides a wide range of specialist services for people aged over 65 to assist with prevention and treatment of common conditions during the aging process.
Rashids story and humorous experiences with a new life in Australian kept us all eager to hear more form him.
Rashid expressed a desire to become a rotarian, so Ann Barker and membership director Chris Preston are organising a catch up with him to go over the requirements of being a member.
Great speaker.
