Lyndoch Living Carer Respite Services
All Carers are the heroes of the community providing invaluable care to many people wanting to remain living in their own homes. Our programs are designed to support the Carer and provide timely respite options. The Carer can be anyone from a spouse, family member, neighbour or friend. You do not need to be a live in carer to access support. Please call us to talk through your situation and we will support you anyway we can.

Thank you both for your presentation.
This was followed by a hyped-up version of the ever popular “Pie in the Face”, but with a difference. Instead of the members diving under the table to escape selection, we had youngsters scrambling for a go, and lining up for seconds. Great fun. Thanks again Barry
General Business:
1. Rotary Planning Day
- Tomorrow I am attending a meeting about having a “Rotary Day” of some kind, promoting the scope, scale and community engagement of the Group 5 Clubs. How this is to be presented to the community will be the focus of a Working Group, with the day itself possibly targeted towards the end of the year. There is a lot of work to be done, and will require discussion within Daybreak as to our involvement and commitment to the project.
2. District Assembly
- District Assembly is on 28/4 at Ararat. 3 Daybreakers are listed as attending, but not availing themselves of the group bus that is available. Incoming Board members are strongly encouraged to attend as it will set them up for their year of office. Pease consider.
3. Group 5 gathering.
- The 2 Portland Clubs are hosting a combined Social Day for District 5 Clubs on 5/5. The day’s Agenda is available on our I.T. outlets (and if I can find it, anyone can), so please make a commitment to support Portland. A lot of work has gone into making it a great day out and getting the Clubs to meet and mix. Put it in your diary now.
Finally, I would like to thank Ian W. for doing the I.T. for the last 2 weeks. My backup was going to be a Whyte Board and Butcher’s paper, and that could have been interesting.
Wipe the cream from your face, enjoy what the Easter Bunny left, and go out there and Be The Inspiration.
