Serg, kept us engaged with his life story on July 15th.
Serg grew up in Morwell, Gippsland.
His father was an electrician at the coal mine and his brother also took on that trade. Sergio had greater aspirations and studied hard, attended univerisity in Melbourne to graduate as a barrister and solicitor, then relocated to Warrnambool to settle down and have a family and see out his career in the area. He is married to Jenny who had a career as a secondary science teacher at Warrnmabool College, now retired. Sergio has 2 children, eldest Vanessa, she has now also graduated in the law field and son Sam who lives at home, maintaining and running the estate in Wollaston Road.
Sergio LOVES fishing and caravanning, always up for a chat about fishing and willing to take anyone out in his boat for a days adventure. Fish NOT guaranteed, however the editor can say, hold onto your hat.
Sergio has been in Rotary for 28 years now and is a Charter member of Warrnambool Daybreak,
he has been President twice 2008-09 and 2022-23. Serg was also recognised at Daybreaks Changeover luncheon as a Paul Harris Fellow.
