President Elect.

Warrnambool Daybreak is now seeking names of current Daybreakers who are keen to add their name to the list of Past Presidents.

Each year Rotary clubs invite members to step forward and take on the role as club President for the next rotary year starting June 1st to July 30th.

Now is the correct time to step up, because you will have ample opportunity to be guided through the process in the lead up to your most rewarding year in Rotary.

The club runs the club, the President is the spokes person for the club.
You only take on what you feel comfortable with doing in your Presidential Year.
Some do more than others.

We have had Past Presidents that have repeated another term, but we must draw on all members to take their turn and the opportunity to experience personal growth.

There are currently 11 Past Presidents and the current President to guide you.

Vocational Visit.                   October 7th.     7am.
1/12 Cooper Street.  Warrnambool.

Following on with our guest speaker Tyson Jakitsch on Sept 9th about Loved & Shared, we now have the opportunity to get up close and see the premises where all the magic happens. Tyson is providing coffee and tea as refreshments after you have consumed your pre ordered breakfast.

To Order this at next weeks meeting, SEE JAN and make her happy, with your payment for the breaky that you will consume at Loved and Shared on October 7th.

A menu has already been sent out via WhatsApp, so scroll backwards, its just after the flower photos, see Wednesday 16th September.

We are still seeking 5 Daybreakers who are willing to shadow the current Warrnambool East members who head up 5 areas as set out in the job description sent to Daybreak (see Chris Preston to request an emailed copy) and learn what is involved in the lead up to this coming years Hole in One event.

Warrnambool East club have offered to pay us $10,000 if we help in the lead up from October 1st to December 26th and also provide Daybreak members to fill 40 - 4 hour shifts over January 2027. In January 2026 we did 22 shifts amongst 9 members and were paid $3520.00.

Daybreak have been offered first choice because we are a rotary club, we already help East out now, we are viewed as reliable and Warrnambool East want to build on this current combined clubs relationship going forward.

If we can have 7 members do 2 shifts a week for 3 weeks = 42 shifts.
