School Lunch Program returns in 2025
Last year, WNCC received a Supporting Stronger Communities Grant from ANHCA to develop the "Feeding Bodies, Minds & Community Spirit – Healthy School Lunch Program." This program aimed to provide healthy lunches for students without lunch. Admin Support Officer Katrina and dedicated volunteers made approximately 2,400 lunches for five Warrnambool primary schools.
Community partners like Rotary Club of Warrnambool Daybreak, Coles, Saputo - Cheese World, Bakers Delight, Western District Food Share, and St. Pius Church supported this initiative with in-kind food donations and a kitchen space.
Thanks to ongoing support and donations from Inner Wheel and Day Break Rotary groups, we are excited to extend this program into 2025. To join as a donor, volunteer, or partner, contact Katrina at admin@wncc.org.au or call 5561 46224.
We recently donated $1,000.00 to the Community Centre.
