Attendance: Nooka recorded an attendance of 23 members, 2 guests and 1 worried president. Our guests were Maria, whom some feel isn’t a guest, and Graig Chester from the Rotary Club of Carlton, who was a visiting Rotarian and so not a guest at all.
Nooka was both happy and blue.

Members arrived perfectly on time right on the dot of ten past one to greet our long lost President as he finally made his return. David got us started with the traditional lawyer joke before introducing our President Bono to club members. This was necessary because most had forgotten what Brendan looked like. Brendan advised members;
- He had returned from Japan. Reasonably self-evident under the circumstances I would have thought, but let’s not get too pedantic.
- Our distribution of assistance for farming communities will proceed on Friday. We have five destinations to supply from the Woolsthorpe Fire Station. We will have two trailers/utes going to each destination. Five members of the Rotary Club of Brighton will be coming down to assist us.
- Our can sorting trailer is progressing. Hopefully it will be ready for the Jericho Cup or, failing that, shortly after.
- Members are asked to r.s.v.p. for our December 5th Christmas party on the Stack App.
In other reports;
- Greg advised that the club will be contributing $1200 towards the cost of sending Archer to the National Maths Summer Camp. We wish Archer all the best.
- Robbo will postpone the Thank God You Are Here Night until the new year given the high number of people who will be away on the initial proposed date.
- Matt announced the winners of the Melbourne Cup Sweep. Glenn picked up the win, yours truly second, Francis third and Bim last place.
- Surf advised that the Quiz Night will be on again sometime in the new year.
- Dillo brought us an update from Hutto, who has relocated to Melbourne and is currently doing the Spring Racing Carnival luncheon marathon. Dillo reminded members of the Jericho Cup Luncheon on Friday 28th of November. See detail below.
- Sam reminded members Libby’s calendars are available now.
Maria gave us an update on her exchange experience. She has only two months left and is sad about leaving. Maria went to the Warrnambool Show, a Halloween party, and Wreckfest. She is moving to the Robinson’s on Sunday.
Bim began a fines session, but your correspondent had to leave at that point because the meeting had started late. I blame the President.
