ROTARY Club of Warrnambool Central has celebrated raising more than $1 million during the past 25 year

“We are all very proud that we have been able to raise more than $1 million over the past 25 years. Our maj for Rotary House, the community garden hub, there was $160,000 contributed to AquaZone and our comm raiser.”

Mr Northeast said past Rotary district governor Alf Swan, his wife Helen, assistant governor Judy Ross, Wa Jacinta Ermacora all attended the dinner.

“We had five past presidents address the gathering to reflect on five-year periods.

“Two members were also recognised as Paul Harris Fellows, one of the highest honours in Rotary. One was washing machine man, and also hospital pharmacist Brian Dillon.

“On the lighter side there was also plenty of reminiscence of the days of billycart racing with mayor Michae athomson@fairfaxmedia.com.au
