Walking Home Fundraiser - Saturday 7 November commencing 7:00 am

Karina advised that the Salvation Army is running their inaugural Walking Home fundraiser for awareness of homelessness. The walk is from Port Fairy to Warrnambool on the Rail Trail, however for a shorter walk you can join at Koroit or Levy's Point. 

Port Fairy to Warnambool – 37.7km

Koroit to Warrnambool – 19.8km

Levy’s Point Carpark – 5.7km

(Walking times are based on approx. 5kms per hour)

Wangoom Fundraiser for Upgrading the Hall - Saturday 7 November from 10:00 to 2:00 pm

This is a plant and book sale, with lovely food, coffee and other goodies.

Warrnambool Show 2015

Doug Maclean thanked all those who were able to help out at the Show. 43 people helped out totalling 239 hours of work at $15 ph, including cleaning by Ron and Keith, plus 10 hours for the BBQ. Thanks also to Tony Austin, John Harris and Judy Ross for doing the supervisors' roles, as well as 4 Rotaractors and 6 Friends of Rotary. Exact earnings will be known shortly.
