The weeks seem to be flying past. I continue to be busy packing up the house ready to move. I cant believe I have accumulated so much over the years and Trevor’s sheds will present a major challenge. If anyone wants a piano in good condition for their grandchildren or others, they are most welcome to it.

President's announcements
SoundSystem for meetings. Tony and I visited Dale Cleeves Music and Sound and spoke with Dale regarding what is required for our meetings to ensure that all members can hear well at the meeting. We believe that there is not good coverage at for sound at the meetings and or the speakers have been turned down leading to some members not hearing well. Coupled with this the microphone quality has been variable. Dale has suggested a head set microphone so speakers can walk around and so the variability in holding style will not have as much impact. Following discussion after our meeting there are a few things we still need to check but for members who are having trouble hearing at meetings we hope to have this sorted before changeover.
Youth Exchange – the district is looking for potential students to go on youth exchange and also families to host exchange students. Hosting is really fun to do so if you are interest4ed let me know or contact the District Youth Exchange person (details on the District website).
Trivia quiz at Rotary Club of Port fairy on Saturday. Rachel, Sharon, Kelly, Brooke and George attended and I am very surprised they didn’t win but they had a great time.
Board meeting after the Club meeting – we had a quick Board meeting after the meeting discuss the sound system and get agreement to continue with upgrading our sound system to ensure all members can hear at meetings.

Trevor and Leanne are going away for 4 months travelling around Australia. We wish them well and safe travels on their journey.
On the couch with Sharon Kenny – Presenting Greg Lee
So much to learn about Greg and so little time! Some history remains untold, some forgotten, some not mentioned but we did get to hear a fair bit of Gregs interesting history including his over 30 years at Nestles / Fontara and his progression into representing the workers via becoming a union delegate. Greg was always very sporty and met my husband Trevor at around 18 years of age on the football field playing for the opposition. They had (I’m told) a friendly altercation which ended in a few beers in the club rooms and a lifelong friendship. Greg has a large family and now spends a lot of time with the grandchildren.
Next weeks program will be Caytlyn Sharp speaking to us about her athletic pursuits – we look forward to hearing from her.

I have been delivering your donations of milk bottle tops to the City Council offices. They are no longer accepting them, as the Lids for Kids project in Warrnambool is not operating at present. Instead, Wil, our guest speaker from the WCC, suggested you put the washed tops back on the washed milk bottles and place them in your yellow recycling bin. We will update you if the Lids for Kids project is restarted.
The bread tags have been going to Bakers Delight in the Coles carpark at the rear of Target. Feel free to drop them in if you are in the area, however if you still want to bring them to Rotary, I'm happy to deliver them on your behalf. Judy.

We are now 2 months away from the challenge! Please save the date in your calendars. This year we are looking to need 32 volunteers to help run such a full day. Volunteers don't need to be Rotarians, but must have a working with childrens check. ROMAC - Rotary Oceanina Medical Aid for Children
ROMAC is a Multi-District Organisation within Rotary. ROMAC exists to facilitate the provision of life-saving and dignity restoring surgery for children in the Oceania region. ROMAC is looking to fill two significant vacancies:-
