Tuesday night we had Renita from Unpackaged Food Cooperative come and talk to us. They are opened once a month and you can take your jars along and fill up on lots of food items. We also had Brenda from Repair Café which is also open once a month and you can take anything that is not working, and they will try and fix it. Even your clothes. This is a fantastic idea and l know l will certainly be there and have lots of things that need a bit of love.
Ron Bishop funeral was this afternoon, and it was a wonderful service. The family have requested no flowers but happy if anyone would like to donate to the Early Loss Memorial. Please see Janet if you would like to make a donation. It was lovely to see so many Rotarians there to create a long guard of honour for Ron.
Can you please read the newsletter each week to see if you are rostered on for a job. If you are unable to attend, can you please contact Anne Adams so we can delegate to another member. If you are on fellowship, could you please put the badge board away. Thank you to all who are doing this.
On the 15th of November Anne Adams is having a social night at her place. All members are welcome to attend and should be a great night.

- Anne Adams mentioned the Garden show which is being held on November 3rd . Anne will be sending out a roster next week and needs lot of help, Please get behind Anne and support her as she is doing an amazing job and this is one of our biggest fundraisers for the year.
- Rachel is having an appreciation night in November for everyone who has helped out with camp quality. A working bee is on this weekend and a lot of work needs to be done and Rachel and Tony would love as many Rotarians as possible to come and help out this weekend.
- Brooke has asked if any volunteers can help out this Thursday and next Tuesday at Deakin. Deakin Outreach Program year 9’s are developing their skills. They will be doing interviews and need volunteer to assist. If you can help out, please see Brooke.

Garden Expo Raffle
Judy is collecting raffle items for the garden expo. If you have items, please bring them in for Judy to group together before the day. Please no second hand items.

Empty Medicine Blister Packets
Robbie will be collecting empty medicine packets to be recycled. You can also drop them off at one of the participating Pharmacies as a part of our environmental project (Ask Graham about locations).

Ann will happily take your plastic bottle tops. Please make sure they are washed and dried before you give them to her. They are sent to the lids for kids program in Mt Gambier.

RYLA 2025
will take place in the April 2025 school holidays. We are seeking participants to attend aged between 18-25 at the time of the camp. Applications will open around October. If you have anyone in mind, please contact Rachel.
Camp Quality Cabin
There is a lot of maintenance that needs to happen at the cabin in the next 12 months. If you would like to assist on this hands on project please contact Rachel.

Tony would love to see as many people there as possible 'more hands make light work'. Please contact tony if you have any equipment that relates to sanding or painting which could be useful. Any hours you can give are valuable.
Recent upgrades in the Camp Quality Cabin
Thank you to Hammonds Paints for providing the materials and man power to paint the inside of the cabin last week. The new paint job looks great. Thank you to all of the Rotarians that came along to help move furniture out of the cabin and back in again to enable the painting to take place.
