Rachel welcomed stand-in president Mal to introduce the meeting agenda.

Apologies from President David Brown who was unable to attend.  Mal thanked all for their contribution to the night, especially Terry, Tony, Anne Adams, Svet, Ann Donaldson, Vikki and others.  The order of the evening will be eat first and then be merry, aka the after Melbourne Cup Sweep.

Members notices:

Rachel advised that RYLA is now open, and members should consider if they know of any prospective applicants.

Anne Adams is after an archway to tie balloons to for our 90th celebrations.  Please see Anne if you know of anything

Joey reported on his past week, which included a weekend away with Trevor and Leanne at Nelson, and that on way he saw a Koala on the road.  He also went on the bike ride with Vikki, Mary and Chris to Port Fairy.  Great effort guys.

Fashions on the Field winners were:

Junior fashions:  the three lovely young ladies in their beautiful chiffon dresses and millinery attached.

Ladies:  Andrea Sampson, dressed of course by Chris

Men:  Who could go past Alan Bowes, splendidly attired, with matching suit and accessories.

As 44 tickets sold and only 24 horses ran, Joey will add $100 to his fund raising efforts.
