Alan Bowes went to Stewart Bells funeral last week.Stewart was a past member of our rotary club.

It is with regret that the board has accepted the resignation of Louise Brenan & Malcom Price.

The Rotary Peace concert is on March 5 . There will be a short meeting after rotary to nominate a Rotarian, Youth, Adult & Organisation for the Peace Award.

22 February there will be a Morning Tea at Glenn & Marion’s home for a Bushfire Fundraiser —All a  welcome.

Please let President David know if you can do 2x5hour shifts at the Port Fairy Folk Festival this year.

Tony is in the Royal Melbourne hospital with Malaria. He is in recovery and hopefully he will be coming home at the end of the week.Malaria is not contagious. We all wish him well.

A big thank you to everyone who sold tickets for the Car Raffle -especially at Gateway Plazza & Surfside 1. Over 120  books were sold. We should roughly earn about $3500.

Tonight’s guest was Chris Stebbins.

He was born in Footscray (yay). Is single, in Rotary 1 year, has had 11 jobs, plays cricket, highest score in ten pin bowling 267  (Terry 289). Likes to read Sci-Fi & listen to music..

Chris mainly writes computer programs and has worked in Dubai. He and his partner have developed an online punting form guide that you can buy with all the horse races analysed from around the world. All very interesting.
